Privacy Policy

Storm Crow Manor ("we", "us", "the Manor") operates this website and the bar/restaurant located at 580 Church Street, Toronto, ON. This policy explains how we handle personal information you provide through this site, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Reservation information — your name, email, phone number, and party size when you book through Tock. This data is collected and stored by Tock under their own privacy policy; we receive what we need to honour the reservation.
• Mailing-list signups — your email address if you choose to subscribe. We use it to send occasional updates about events and menu changes.
• Contact-form messages — anything you send us through forms or to manor@stormcrow.com.
• Server logs and basic analytics — your IP address, browser, and pages visited, kept for security and to understand which parts of the site are useful. We use Google Analytics 4 for this, configured for analytics only — no advertising tracking and no third-party fingerprinting.

What we don't collect

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not place ad-targeting cookies. We do not collect payment card information directly — that's handled by Tock and our point-of-sale provider in-house.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies — to remember your sound preference on the dice pages, to suppress the mobile pull-to-refresh, and — via Google Analytics — to measure site traffic in aggregate. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and similar). The Tock booking widget on our Visit page sets its own cookies for the booking session. You can clear or block these in your browser without breaking the site.

How long we keep your data

Reservation data is retained for the period required by Tock; we keep our own copies (party size, dietary notes) for one year after the booking. Mailing-list emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept for two years.

Third parties

We share what's necessary with these service providers to operate the bar:

• Tock — reservations and ticketed events.
• SilverPay — e-gift card sales.
• Google Analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting traffic measurement; analytics only, with Google's advertising / "Signals" features left off. Google's own privacy policy applies.
• Google Maps / OpenStreetMap — the map embed on the Visit page (lazy-loaded; no data sent until you tap).
• Google Fonts — for the brass-coloured typography. Your browser makes a request to fonts.gstatic.com on first visit; Google's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your information, except where we're legally required to keep it.
• Withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe from the mailing list) at any time.

Children

Storm Crow Manor is family friendly, but the website is not designed to collect information from children under 13. If you believe we've inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We'll post any meaningful change to this page and update the "Effective" date above. Material changes (e.g., adopting an advertising tracker — we won't) would also go out to the mailing list.
